Creatures of The Night
On September 14th, various creatures of the night descended upon New Albany Indiana for the 3rd and final “Witches Ball”, held at The Grand Theater. It was a marvelous event to see such wondrous and magical beings abound. The Sisters of the Dancing Moon joined in the festivities and had an absolutely amazing time.
The Sisters started off the night debuting the new dance they’ve been working for months on. It was a success and surely entertained the crowd. We danced to the song “Rama Lama (Bang Bang) by Róisín Murphy. The stage was smaller than we were used to, and the DJ kind of messed up the beginning of our song but we persevered and loved seeing the entertainment on everyone’s faces. The show always goes on.

A few select drinks later, a few more great performers and The Sisters danced again. This time it was The Witches Dance that everyone has grown to love and what started it all. By the end of the night everyone was on their feet dancing, twirling and making such magical energy. Watch a clip of us doing The Witches Dance below!
During the night The Sisters visited The Rec Bar for dinner and celebrated our Favorite Ghoul, Hightower’s Bday. Some of us finished the night by attending The Witches Ball’s after party at The Floyd County Brewery. It was a truly enchanting evening that all of us enjoyed attending. Thank you to all who support us, old fans and new. We do what we love because of you.
